Chief Executive Officer, Altran North America
As CEO of Altran North America, Laila Worrell is accountable for the division’s billion-dollar business in the Americas and India. An EVP of the Altran Group, she also drives the company’s digital agenda in areas such as 5G, software, virtualization and artificial intelligence, and serves on two Group-level executive committees: Technology & Innovation and Operations & Industries. Earlier this year, The Software Report named her one of the Top 50 Tech Services CEOs of 2019. Before her appointment as CEO in July 2018, Laila served as COO of the company, then known as Aricent. She joined after advising Aricent as a Partner in the Boston Consulting Group’s Principal Investing and Private Equity practice. Prior to BCG, she held multiple leadership roles at Accenture and Macmillan. She earned her MBA from Harvard Business School and an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
President, Platforms and Solutions
Brian Bronson is President of Altran’s global Platforms and Solutions business, which provides software frameworks and digital solutions to power applications grounded in emerging technologies such as 5G, cloud and edge computing, the Internet of Things (IoT) and network intelligence. He brings more than 25 years of experience in business development, sales, operations and finance. Most recently, he was President and CEO of Radisys Corporation, a global leader in open telecom solutions. He previously held leadership roles at Tektronix and Deloitte & Touche.
President, Software & Digital
Daniel Dargham is global leader of the Software & Digital business and President & CEO of Lohika, a premier Silicon Valley-based software development firm that is a company of Altran. He brings over 25 years of international experience in a diversified range of software engineering, marketing, sales and general management experience, from both established and high-growth companies at the cutting edge of software development. Prior to Altran, he held several engineering and management roles at KLA-Tencor and IBM. Daniel holds an MBA from Stanford University and an M.S in Electrical Engineering from INSA Lyon in France.
President, Semiconductor & Electronics, Industrial & Consumer and North America Automotive
Scott Houghton is global leader of the Semiconductor & Electronics, Industrial & Consumer business and North America leader of the Automotive business. He also serves on the Altran Group’s Executive Committee on Operations & Industries. Scott brings more than 20 years of experience providing digital software and hardware solutions for a wide range of technology industries. Prior to joining Altran in 2016, he worked at AMD (Advanced Micro Devices), where he led the Custom Semiconductor business. Before that, he was a cofounder of Open-Silicon, a custom SoC solution provider, and Senior Vice President of the Professional Services Group at Synopsys, an electronic design automation company.
President, Communications and Technology Systems
Dietmar Wendt is global leader of the Communications and Technology Systems business. He has over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing and services, and was most recently the Executive Vice-President of Sales & Marketing at ASG Software. He has also held various leadership roles at T-Systems, Nortel and IBM.
As President of frog, one of the world’s top design and innovation firms and a company of Altran, Andy Zimmerman oversees the agency’s global strategy, business development and operations. He joined from Sutherland Digital, where he served as President. Prior to that, he was the global lead for the communications industry at both PwC and Accenture. In addition, he was managing director at idealab!, one of the first and most successful incubators. Andy earned his B.A. in Literature and Creative Writing from Haverford College and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business.
Group VP, Digital & Software Global Service Lines and North America Leader, Aerospace, Life Sciences & Cybersecurity
Glenn Hoogerwerf is global leader of the Digital & Software Global Service Lines and North America leader of the Aerospace, Life Sciences & Cybersecurity businesses. He brings more than 25 years of experience, most recently at HCL Technologies, where he launched the Product Testing Services business and was client partner for Microsoft. Previously, Glenn held leadership roles with Amazon, SureFind Corporation, Tandem Computers, Halliburton and GTE Telecom. He also founded Vesta Labs and VMC Consulting. Glenn earned his B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon and did master’s studies in Computer Science at Stanford University.
Chief Client Officer and Chief People Officer
Camie Shelmire is Altran North America’s Chief Client Officer and Chief People Officer, and serves on the Altran Group’s Executive Committee on Engineering & Transformation. As CCO, she leads the division’s end-to-end client strategy, overseeing the go-to-market strategy and sales enablement function, running sales operations and spearheading operational improvements. As CPO, she serves as head of Human Resources and has responsibility for advising the CEO, driving key talent initiatives, leading talent acquisition and development, and managing HR operations for both Altran North America and frog, a top global design and innovation firm that is part of the Altran Group. Prior to joining the company in 2014, she served as a Senior Vice President at Nationstar Mortgage. Earlier in her career, she worked a dozen years at KPMG (formerly KPMG Consulting and BearingPoint), where she sold and implemented financial services consulting solutions. Camie holds a B.A. in Journalism and Political Science from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas.
Chief Financial Officer
Eric Johnson is Chief Financial Officer at Altran North America. He was recently Vice President of Finance for IBM’s Growth Markets, where he established the finance and business operations in APAC, Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Chief Innovation Officer
As Chief Innovation Officer for the Altran Group, Walid Negm is responsible for technology strategy and innovation. He brings 25 years of experience, most recently as Global Lead for Industrial Internet of Things R&D at Accenture. Walid was a cofounder and responsible for product development at cybersecurity and mobile infrastructure startups. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Computer Engineering from Boston University and an MBA from The McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
Chief Operating Officer and General Manager for IBM
Rick Padinha is our Chief Operating Officer, having joined us after a long career with IBM. He was an engineer with the IBM Federal Systems Division, moved to Loral and then Lockheed Martin as an SVP, and was most recently General Manager of Global Operations and Delivery Excellence for IBM’s Global Business Services.
N. Mohan Rangan
Chief Engineering Officer, U.S., Santa Clara
Mohan Rangan leads Engineering operations based in the U.S. He is also responsible for Software Frameworks and Solutions (SFS) and Product Support and Services (PSS), global service lines that cut across industries. He also serves on the Altran Group’s Executive Committee on Technology & Innovation. Mohan has been with the company for more than 20 years, back when it was named Hughes Software Systems. Prior to joining, he was a scientist with India’s Defense Research & Development Organization (DRDO). He earned his B.S. in Electronics from Delhi University in Delhi and an M.S. in Computer Science from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) University in Indore.
Chief Engineering Officer, India, Bengaluru
Chandra Reddy leads Engineering operations based in India. He has over 25 years of product engineering experience. Prior to joining the company in 2013, he worked for more than 17 years at Wipro. He earned a B.E. in Electronics and Communication and an M.E. in Electronics from the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) in Bangalore.
Bipul Mainali is General Counsel at Altran North America. He previously worked in private practice at premier law firms in New York and New Delhi. Bipul is a graduate of Harvard Law School and National Law School of India.
David S. Fondiller
Vice President, Corporate Communications
Dave Fondiller leads corporate communications for Altran North America and one of its companies, frog, the global design and innovation firm. He previously led North America PR and communications at the Boston Consulting Group. Dave has 20 years of marketing and communications experience in top-tier professional and financial services. Earlier in his career, he worked as a journalist – at Forbes and elsewhere. He earned his B.A. in History from Columbia College and a master’s in International Affairs from Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs.
