A New User Experience

After releasing a preview of the new UI at IBM’s Think’18 conference, the updated interface launched to market in late 2018 with great reception from users around the world. The new approach to user-centered UI set a benchmark in efficiency, operability and increased user experience while maintaining the best-in-class capabilities around secure and reliable data exchange that IBM has always been known for. This new approach to user-centricity has become a major differentiator for the Connect:Direct product.

Key Product Updates

In addition to a new user interface, Altran worked on key updates for Cloud Enablement, Rest API, and certification and performance testing. Connect:Direct is now enabled with certification to run on Amazon Elastic Cloud Compute (EC2), and able to direct read/write access to cloud object storage through support of Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3). The product has seamless integration with Rest APIs and allows for integration with external systems without becoming a C:D guru. It’s also updated with certification and performance testing results for latest z/OS hardware.
