Altran Announces Nationwide “Bright Minds” Paper Competition for Engineering Students across India

Gurgaon, Haryana, 27 October, 2010 – Altran®, a global innovation, technology, and services company focused exclusively on communications has announced the All India ‘Bright Minds’ Technical Paper Contest 2010. The contest invites engineering students across all colleges in India to submit an original paper on one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Telecom, Electronics & Engineering or IT. The papers will be evaluated by a 12 member jury of domain experts, and the top three winners will be awarded internships with Altran along with an Apple®, iMac®, iPad™, and iTouch respectively. The next 10 winners will be rewarded with DVD players.

The Bright Minds competition is an effort to foster innovative thinking among students and offer them a platform to present original ideas. More than 6,000 of Altran’s global workforce is based in India and growing rapidly, presenting a tremendous opportunity for young engineers to start a career in an environment in which they can learn, innovate and advance.

Participation Process:

  • Students can access official contest information and submit their papers
  • Last date for papers to be submitted is November 30, 2010
  • Jury to evaluate the papers and select the winners
  • Winners to be declared by January 19, 2011
